Hi Guys, I know that there are other threads but i want create this to show you how to Flash LG Quantum C900. This method is the simplest way to do it.

How to flash LG Quantum C900 Steps:

1. Download LGDP2 V36 UMTS Setup and extract, go to LGDP2_31_INCLUDE_LGDP1_Setup folder and install the exe (use serial number). Now copy all the files from DOWNLOAD folder and paste on C:\DOWNLOAD (overwrite if needed).
2. Install LG United Modem Driver, connect the phone to PC through USB cable and let the drivers to be installed. USB 1.1 is recommended.
3. You’ll need firmware in DZ format (you can download it from here) and the correct DLL for your model.
4. Open LGDP2_V36_UMTS from C:\DOWNLOAD, select UMTS in Division and click OK.
5. Select port (check Device Manager for LG USBModem Port number), you can set a range from easy select or select manually. Select DLL and select firmware in Download Configuration. Click OK.
6. Click START in main window and connect the phone to USB cable in Emergency download mode(VOL+CAM+PWR).

Thanks to jriv who discovered a way to flash T-cellular G2X P999 to .kdz format firmware. I went ahead and tried his method out, and it works without any problems.  I’ve typed up detailed instructions to help make it easier for others who want to flash their T-cellular G2X P999 with the latest V21E.kdz firmware file. How to Flash T-cellular G2X P999 Steps: LG Cell Phone Software

1. Download the latest V21E.kdz firmware file:

• http://csmg.lgcellular.com:9002/LGP999DW/V21e_00/V21E_00.kdz

2. Download KDZ_FW_UPD:

• http://www.box.net/shared/ktk8zu8lhez3624ua1qd

3. Unzip the KDZ_FW_UPD file

4. Install MSXML 4.0 SP3 Parser (msxml.msi)

5. Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe

6. Click on read phone information at the bottom of the program.

7. Click on Upgrade Start

8. Change country to different country and change Language to English

9. Click ok and this opens up the LG updater and will push the update of GB to your phone on windows 7 machine and for phone with LG-P999dwp model # (aka refurb)

LG has launched the Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread software update for T-cellular G2X for a few weeks. But so far as I know, for some reason a lot of T-cellular G2X owners still haven’t updated their phone. LG Android Phones

Following is the full instructions on how to update your T-cellular G2X by using the official LG cellular update tool. It’s very easy to do if you do as I tell you, that won’t brick your phone anytime. So here we go. LG Phone Problem and Solution

All things you will need:

1. T-cellular G2x Android USB Driver (http://www.lg-phones.org/t-cellular-g2x-usb-driver.html)
2. LG cellular Support Tool (http://www.lg-phones.org/lg-cellular-phone-software-update-tool.html)
3. Fully charge the battery.
4. Save any important data onto your PC before updating the software on your T-cellular G2X.
5. Remove the SD Card.
6. Close all open applications on your pc before proceeding with the update.
7. Please connect your USB cable directly to the PC (Do not use a USB Hub).

Important:

• Do not disconnect the USB cable until the update is completed.
• Calling and messaging functions are not available during the update process.
• This Android 2.3.3 software update takes you about 20 minutes.
• The T-cellular G2X is automatically reset during this process.

How to update update T-cellular G2X Steps:

1. Installation and open the LG cellular Support Tool
2. Plug your T-cellular G2X into the USB Cable that’s attached to your PC
3. Press on the “start updating”button to start the update process. The update process will be initiated
4. The Update process could take several minutes, especially if your battery level is low.  During the update, your phone might reboot multiple times
5. Once the Update is complete will see the completion screen and your phone might reboot one final time.  It is now safe to unplug your phone from the USB Connection.

To verify that the update has indeed installed on your T-cellular G2X, perform the following steps from your phone.

1. Go to the HomeScreen
2. Press Settings button
3. Scroll all the way down to “About Phone”
4. Scroll the About Phone window all the way to the Bottom and look under the “Software Version” Heading, and you will see the Version #. The Last 4 characters represent the Version Number. In this Case “V21e” is the latest version.
