It appears now that T-cellular has started to roll out the update via OTA, so if you misplaced your USB cord or didn’t want to bother with LG’s tools, you’re in luck. This is an OTA update no matter if your T-cellular G2X was rooted, but the root will be lost after updating. LG Android Phones

If you can’t receive the OTA update or failed to update via OTA on the T-cellular G2X, never mind, it’s easy to manual update the phone using KDZ_FW_UPD software. I will right a tutorial for you how to flash the kdz file very soon. Please wait.  LG Phone Problem and Solution

      Debrand your LG Quantum [Tutorial]

      We have attached a quick tutorial to debrand your LG Quantum. The instructions will debrand your LG Quantum handset to the generic firmware, following the steps below:

      1. Enable the MFG application by going to the dialer and dialing ##634# then pressing call.  LG Phone Problem and Solution
      2. Launch the MFG application and enter 277634#*# when prompted for a password.
      3. Select the Engineer Menu item.
      4. Select the Other Setting menu item.
      5. Select the Edit registry menu item.
      6. Set the input boxes on this menu as follows:
        • Select ROOT_PATH: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
        • Input SUB_PATH: \System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo\
        • Input KEY: cellularOperator
        • Data Type: STRING
      7. Select Query and write down the result for re-branding (just in case)
      8. To debrand leave the input data field blank, apply the changes.
      9. The tool will say fail but it really did set correctly.(you can also use cellularOperator "000-88" this is what worked for me)
      10. Connect to Zune and check for updates.

        Hi guys, I decided to share this because a lot of us here still facing GPS issue on their phone. I almost give up on my T-cellular G2X because of the GPS instant lock issue. After I find this tip, now I realized that the T-cellular G2X has one of the most brilliant GPS hardware. LG Android Phones

        How to fix the T-cellular G2X’s GPS instant lock issue Steps:

        1. Go to settings>applications>map
        2. Under maps:
          • Clear data
          • Clear cache
          • Uninstall updates (you should be able to see the uninstall button if it grayed out then it means there is nothing to uninstall)

            The LG Prada 3.0 will be available on Korea’s SK Telecom starting tomorrow (December 28th) and KT starting January 5th.               How to Root LG Nitro HD

              Here we recommend you the SuperOneClick 2.3.1 to root the LG Nitro HD. I’ve tried the SuperOneClick on my phone, it works great without any problem. LG Android Phones

              SuperOneClick 2.3.1 Download:

              How to root LG Nitro HD using SuperOneClick 2.3.1 Steps:

              1. Put your LG Nitro HD into “USB Debugging Mode” (if you did not have it yet). To do it, go to “Applications”—> “Settings” –> “Applications” –> “Development” –> and check the box “USB debugging”.
              2. Download and install the drivers on your computer. http://www.lg-phones.org/lg-nitro-hd-p930-usb-driver-download.html
              3. Connect the LG Nitro HD to your computer using USB Cable.
              4. Then run SuperOneClick 2.3.1 and it will work on the first shot!!!

                LG on its Facebook page confirmed which of its smartphones will get an official update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the next year. They include the Optimus LTE, Optimus 2X, Optimus Sol, Prada Phone 3.0, T-cellular’s LG myTouch Q, LG Eclipse (will start rolling-out sometime in the second quarter), and Optimus 3D, Optimus Black, Optimus Big, Optimus Q2, and Optimus EX (coming in the third quarter of 2011).
